Department ofChemistry
Exploring the molecular world to build better engineering solutions
Department Profile
The Department of Chemistry came into existence with the establishment of the institution in the year 1986. The department is presently headed by Dr. H. N. Chandrakala who is duly supported by well qualified and experienced staff members.
The staff members of the department are actively involved in teaching of basic applications of science in Engineering. Our department organized National Seminar on Global Environmental Issues and Solutions on 14th August 2015 associating with Physics and Mathematics departments.
Department faculty have published 13 papers in international journals, one paper in Indian Journal and 12 papers in National/International Conferences/National Symposium/Workshop. Our department has aim to bring research centre.
