To excel in any of the streams of engineering, one needs an in depth knowledge of the basic sciences. The department of physics came into being along with the inception of KIT to the Kalpataru Group of Educational Institutions, in 1986.
Experienced and highly motivated staff shoulder to impart fundamental principles underlying the technological knowledge to the students.

Welcome to Department of Physics
To excel in any of the streams of engineering one needs an in depth knowledge of Physics. The Department of Physics came into being along with the inception of KIT in 1986. Our motto is to impart fundamental principles underlying the technological knowledge to the students in an interesting way and enable them to use this knowledge in new inventions in technology that is useful to mankind.
The Department has been diversifying its teaching to cope with the multifaceted requirements of the technology and these efforts will continue as per demand of the society.
We, at KIT are blessed with highly qualified and dedicated staff who always strive to perceive and resolve students' queries so that the overall personality of the student can be groomed in such a manner that they pass out as good citizens endowed with rich technical knowledge.

Vision
Fundamental principles of Basic Science and in particular that of Physics being the building blocks of Technology our Vision will be imparting our students, the fundamental principles of Physics in an interesting way and make them use this knowledge to develop new inventions in technology that is useful to mankind.
